Syed Zami-Ul-Haque Navid

Syed joined Dr. Rakibul Hasan’s lab as a Ph.D. student in the Fall of ‘23. His research interests include the security and privacy of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.

Before starting his Ph.D.,. he used to be a Software Engineer at Populate, a New York-based startup. Before that, he was a Software Engineer at Enosis, a diverse company dedicated to building software for North American clients. He finished his BSc. in CSE from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

Syed loves to participate in sports, especially badminton, cricket, table tennis, and a new hobby, chess. Besides, he likes traveling, listening to music, and trying different foods. He is also a newbie ukulele player.
